Using my 30 plus years of Software Development experience and my passion for Boating to design an application that I hope is useful for many. I obtained my Captain’s license approximately 10 years ago and progressed to a 50 ton intracoastal endorsement. I initially realized that I needed an easy way to keep track of my boating hours on the water. For the intracoastal requirements, if you are not doing something commercially, you end up having to spend a lot of time on the water. Not a bad thing but challenging. The requirement is 720 hours in a 4 year period.

I later realized that adding planning features to the application would be very useful. To accomplish the necessary hours required, I needed ideas on different places to go. Additionally, having a power boat requires you to understand where the nearest fuel location is while being out on the water when traveling more than a few miles. There are many boating applications as you are aware, most are social media types, which I’m not a fan of. Try this one out and let me know what you think.
